Over the years, the Class Afloat Foundation has helped make the dream of a school year at sea a reality for many students through its scholarship program.
Through ongoing fundraising efforts, including the Impact Fundraiser Sail, the Foundation is able to offer scholarships each year, with the number and value of awards varying based on available funds.
Scholarships are assessed based on a demonstrated need for financial aid. The assessment will include intellectual and personal achievement in terms of leadership, commitment to volunteer service, physical vigor and academic success. Scholarships are given to students whose participation in the Class Afloat program is dependent upon Foundation support.
Scholarships are available to Canadian and international students applying to the Class Afloat program in the next calendar year. For information about applying to Class Afloat go to the Class Afloat website
